Monica Samuels

SHOW HOST

Monica Samuels is the voice behind Inside the Moms Club—a podcast, platform, and unofficial support group for moms who have realized that perfection is a myth and laughter is survival.

A Texas native, Monica earned her JD from the University of Texas at Austin and spent 14 years practicing environmental and immigration law before stepping away to raise her two boys—a transition that inspired her book, Comeback Moms: How to Leave Work, Raise Children, and Restart Your Career Even if You Haven’t Had a Job in Years.

What began as honest conversations about motherhood has grown into a rapidly expanding brand, reaching women across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Her work blends humor with honesty, whether she’s interviewing authors, celebrities, and experts or sharing stories about Labradoodles with anxiety, travel baseball drama, or the emotional gymnastics of modern motherhood.

Julie Orchid is the co-host of Inside the Moms Club, where she brings heart, humor, and just enough side-eye to keep things honest.

Born in Georgia, Julie is a very proud Elon University graduate and now a longtime Texan. Julie began her career as an Account Executive at Dell Technologies before pivoting into nursing—because why not trade conference calls for actual emergencies?

For 12 years as an ER nurse, Julie was the steady hand in high-stress situations—which, as it turns out, is excellent training for managing a household. She is a mom to two daughters and the ringleader of an impressive lineup that includes two cats, Spooky and Señor Stubbins, and two 55 lb Sheepadoodles, Scout and Sofi.

When she’s not saving lives, raising humans, or managing her personal zoo, Julie enjoys tennis, travel, and eating out—largely because, after everything else, she has absolutely earned the right to not cook.
